Appearances can be deceiving.
We have all heard that statement many times. Remember when we were young, beginning to date and we fell in love with the cute boy on the football team who turned out to be a jerk, callous or abusive? How about that pretty girl in the second desk third row from the windows, who proved to be obnoxious, cruel or demanding?
We learned quickly what is on the outside is often not the same as what is inside. It’s a hard lesson well learned early.
We are often seduced by how people look or even what they say, which often leads to disappointment when we realize what we thought was true was an illusion. Sometimes it takes years before we actually know it was all deception.
It’s not that people can’t change but if the transformation is for any reason other than self-improvement,........
