TV or not TV? That is the question

We just bought a 60-inch television which, in a cottage, is like going to an old-fashioned drive in.

The main concern so far is what to watch? There is such a thing as too much choice.

We used to get our news through the CBC and CNN, who seem to delight in delivering nothing but updates on various wars and natural disasters. Now I’ve got the Crime channel where I can watch the daily shootout and an endless stream of shirtless miscreants stuffing drugs into every orifice they possess.

Nobody involved in high speed chases has a driver’s licence or insurance and most are so spacy they can’t comprehend what, besides missing taillights, mufflers, licence plates and the odd tire could have possibly tipped off the law.

Movies and docs used to be piped in via Netflix and YouTube. Now with Tubi and Crave we can view every flick ever made. This can........
