Achieve your New Year’s resolutions with help from the library

As 2026 approaches, many people are starting to think about their New Year’s resolutions – whether it’s learning a new skill, getting more active, or taking up a creative hobby. The Brantford Public Library is ready to help, offering an impressive array of free resources that make achieving your goals easier than ever.

If you don’t already have a library card, consider adding it to the top of your 2026 to-do list. Cards are free for residents of Brantford, Brant County, Six Nations, and Cambridge. Simply bring two pieces of identification—one showing your current address – and you’ll walk away with a brand-new card and access to thousands of books, classes, and equipment.

For those resolving to be more active, the library’s collection goes well beyond........
