A report from the Department of Transportation looked at data from this summer to find the cancellation rates among the 14 U.S. major airlines. 

We’ve ranked them from most cancellations to least to help you understand which carriers are most likely to get you where you’re going.

#14: Republic Airways

Republic Airways, a regional airline that operates flights for Delta, United, and America, had the highest cancellation rate, with 9.0% of its flights cancelled in July 2025.
