Going Through a Transition? Time to Seize the Opportunity

You’ve just retired, or your youngest has just gone off to college. Or, unfortunately, you’ve just lost your job or gotten divorced. You’re transitioning from a previous chapter in your life, filled with its own routines and patterns, to a yet-unformed new one. A sense of loss—grief—may come with it, as well as anxiety over what’s next or new beginnings. Some people struggle—stuck in their grief or unsure of their identity—while others simply march ahead, continuing on autopilot, without a rest.
