Every semester, clients will describe feeling depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, and unmotivated. They've come back to school from a chill summer break with little need to attend to major friction points. But once they hit campus, it all comes rushing back, and within the first 30 days, they're drowning. There are several evidence-based levers college students can pull to improve their mental health and, maybe proactively, avoid this early semester slump. Working out (both resistance training and cardio), better sleep habits, healthier food choices (eg. something approximating the Mediterranean Diet), and reducing alcohol/drugs/porn/sports betting are fantastic, proven tools that make our brains and bodies so much better.

But one of the most powerful, overlooked, and easiest to adopt is improving organization—more specifically, increasing the use of Google Calendar (or your online calendar of choice).........
