White males make up approximately 29 percent of the U.S. population. About 20 percent of the white male population is adults.
Today, only about half of adult males are married. About 60 percent of white young men (ages 18 to 29) are single, as compared with only 34 percent of women in the same age group. Nearly half of men of all races in their 20s still live at home with their parents, according to the Pew Research Center.
Psychologists suggest that men—particularly white men, who historically did not face these challenges—are profoundly maladjusted to the highly multicultural society we live in today. Recent statistics suggest that white adult males are not doing well with the many challenging societal perils. Their frustration was on display during the last presidential election, with a significant shift in how young white men voted.
White adult males may have anger management problems
Consequently, being a male is hazardous to their freedom: 94 percent of all prison inmates are males. Being an adult white male is even more perilous. Although white adult males (over 18 years) make up only about 20 percent of the U.S. population, according to FBI-DOJ statistics last year, white adult males make up 55 percent of kidnappers in prison, 58 percent of the rapists, 58 percent of mass shooters, 59 percent of child porn arrests, 62 percent of pedophiles, 63 percent of prostitution solicitors and 75........
