Stop Focusing on ROI

Ever feel like the world demands too much? Between work, global conflicts, and tech overload, it can feel exhausting. Sound familiar? You're not alone. Everywhere I go, I hear the same undertones of anxiety and burnout.

Just the other day, I overheard someone in the park say, "I'm doing a lot, but I'm just not getting much back." That simple statement hit me hard. So many of us are giving our all, but what are we getting in return? That got me thinking.

In business, everything revolves around Return on Investment (ROI)—the central question: Are we getting back what we put in? When ROI doesn't add up, things get cut, people lose jobs, and priorities shift.

There's (obviously) more to life than business. Unfortunately, work often takes over our lives, especially with digital tools that blur the lines between personal time and professional demands. The pressure to be "always on" is constant. And with that comes the energy we pour into staying afloat and proving our worth.
