A couple of weeks before Christmas I was not feeling well. As the mom of nine children I have been able to push through most things. I had an infection that I was unaware of and went septic.

People are always complaining about our health-care system here on P.E.I. and Canada. My husband called the ambulance, which was here in about 12 minutes and we live way out in the country. Thanks to the EMTs who were so very kind and skilled and took me to Prince County Hospital. From the time I arrived they took such wonderful care of me.

I had surgery a couple of months before on my knee and they were very concerned about everything and how I was feeling. I cannot say enough about the great care I was given immediately and how kind all the........
