The Food Fishery Survey concluded earlier this month.

Thanks to all who participated, including fish harvesters, seniors and families, all of whom have firsthand experience of the food fishery. The survey gathered these voices; now, these voices need to be heard.

Government must ensure our province, our people and our culture reconcile fully with our fish resource.  It is simply wrong to deny us access to a resource that puts food on our table and in our freezers. We are living on an island surrounded by the ocean in a time of a food insecurity crisis!
