They make that signature whiny sound that gives me a start when I hear it. I suppose I’ll get used to it eventually.

Right now, though, it sounds a bit eerie.

My BFF has one of those cars. She really likes it and recommends it to folks who are looking.

“Don’t you feel somewhat spooked?” I ask her. But she doesn’t know what I’m talking about as the sound is muffled inside the vehicle. Although she does acknowledge that there is a unique noise.

I bought a new car too, but it is a regular gas-powered one. I didn’t have the dollars to get a hybrid. Mine is very fuel-efficient though and I’m happy with my little Venus the........
