We all know things others do not. We all have secrets.

In the news business, journalists tend to know more than others. And often we keep it to ourselves.

We get special access to some material. We know the answers to today's crossword or the arc of a comic strip, for example. We have read articles that haven't yet been published.

Other information we can't possibly fit into a single article or even a series.

Some sources we agree not to name. And we acquiesce when presented with "embargoed" material that can't be published until later.

But should we keep secrets? And can we even be trusted?

This week, the media spilled the beans beforehand that "Jeopardy!" champion James Holzhauer would finally lose on Monday night.

It's not........
