Otonabee square dance club offering free trials throughout the month of January |
The Otonabee Squares Square Dance Club is welcoming new members. Throughout the month of January new dancers are invited to try square dancing for free.
Otonabee Squares meets on Monday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. at Emmanuel United Church. New dancers of all ages are welcome on Jan. 5, 12 and 19. No experience, partner, or special clothing is required. Attendees should wear clean indoor shoes.
Otonabee Squares was started by Howard and Jean Lander and held the first dance in September 2009. The group provides the opportunity to learn a new activity, meet new people, exercise both mind and body, reduce stress, and have fun. Admission after January is $5 per week.
Emmanuel United Church is located at 534 George St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and attendees should enter........
