New exhibitors, handmade treasurers highlight Buckhorn Craft Festival
At the recent Buckhorn Craft Festival, new exhibitors were excitedly sharing their craft.
Darryl Ransler was there with his Smart Dip, his first exhibit ever. He said he loved other dips but he didn’t love the fat, the calories and the sodium. He made up his mind to make a healthy dip. Ransler said he threw a couple of things together, including cottage cheese as the base. In his creation, there are 28 grams of protein and 240 calories in the a container. Four flavours, including french onion and dill pickle, are available.
Bryson’s Birdfeeder Creations was another new exhibitor. Bryson started working with suet creations for birds at the age of eight. He is 13 now. His suet creations look good enough to eat — like an “everything” bagel for breakfast. He started the packs so he could buy a 3D printer. He enjoyed that........
