New services are coming to life in the Buckhorn area as Sandy Beach resident Destiny Botelho expands her offerings.

Bringing a strong foundation of knowledge to her clients, Botelho has studied medical esthetics at both Oxford College in Peterborough and Centennial College.

So, what exactly are medical esthetics? The field covers treatments like microneedling — even for active acne — along with chemical peels, skin tightening, rejuvenation, waxing and facials. Botelho is also certified to use lasers. So far, facials seem to be a client favourite, whether you choose them for hydration, relaxation or acne treatment.

Recently, another area esthetician moved into a new field, leaving her manicure and pedicure customers searching for a new person. Botelho has added those skills to her business to help fill the gap.
