Snow domes at Cheeky Duck Vineyard in Lakefield offer a cosy retreat you won’t forget

On a snowy Sunday morning, my best friend Logan and I ventured out for brunch at the Cheeky Duck Vineyard.

This was an excursion that we had been waiting for months to try. Tucked away off Young’s Point Road with a modest little sign was a peaceful rural retreat, surrounded by acres of vineyard.

Upon arrival, the comforting scent of burning wood surrounded us. We noticed a man placing logs onto the glowing coals in a fire pit surrounded by Muskoka chairs. He greeted us and introduced himself as Andre, while he confirmed our reservation and guided us to the Cheeky Duck snow domes.

We were excited as we have always wanted to do this.

The snow globe space felt warm, intimate, and was surrounded by crisp white snow that was gently falling outside. There were four tables with chairs that had sheepskin draped over them........
