This time of year, I love the opportunity to visit the Downtown Core and East City areas of town. There are magical little boutique shops full of plants and gifts waiting to be purchased.

I always encourage myself to buy little local treats for my loved ones because it is my simple way of supporting the small businesses in our community. I prefer to find one-of-a-kind style items that makes the recipient feel appreciated while enriching my own experience of finding the perfect gift.
