Local Masons help advance Hospice Norwood’s community mission |
Hospice Norwood was the recipient of a substantial donation earlier this week. The Masons of Peterborough District and The Masonic Foundation of Ontario presented the local facility with a cheque for $8,500 to help fund its community outreach programs and further the eventual goal of having a full service Hospice in the Norwood Community.
Local Masonic Lodges have been fundraising over the last few months; the funds were then supplemented by the Masonic Foundation of Ontario for a final tally of $25,500. This was split three ways between Hospice Norwood, Hospice Peterborough and The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth.
Hospice Norwood extents its sincere thanks to the Masons for their generous donation and for their support and belief in the hospice mission.
Norwood Hospice is passionate about its vision of delivering hospice care to community and surrounding areas.
