Free Sunday summer concerts at Riverview Park and Zoo’s gazebo are back.

Happening biweekly from 2 until 4 p.m., the concerts feature local musicians and groups, and include a variety of musical genres, promising something for everyone.

The concert season opened with the Donny Woods Band on May 24. 

The remainder of the summer lineup includes:

June 21: Wylie Harold and Radio Flyer 

July 5: Peterborough Concert Band 

July 19: Jazz Junction 

Aug. 16: Lizeh Basciano 

Aug. 30: Knightshift 

Visitors are asked to park in the main parking lot and walk to the gazebo, located between the camel enclosure and the train station. Vehicles are not allowed along the road by the gazebo.

There are picnic tables and a grassy park area near the gazebo, making it ideal for a picnic. Washrooms are nearby. Pets should remain at home.

The concerts are scheduled weather permitting. Bring your own lawn chair, blanket and shade umbrella and enjoy the tunes.
