‘About bringing people together’: Little Big Run jogs to Jackson Park |
The Little Big Run, a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peterborough to support its mentoring programs, takes place Saturday, June 20 at 9 a.m. at Jackson Park.
“This event is about bringing people together, celebrating community, and enjoying time together in a fun and meaningful way,” said Zoe King, executive director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peterborough. “The Little Big Run is a reminder that when a community shows up for one another, it creates connection, support, and lasting impact.”
The event is open to all ages and fitness levels. Participants can run or walk and can choose between a 1 kilometre run for $15 or a 5 km run for $30. All participants receive a finisher medal sponsored by Dynacast. You can also make a donation of $15 that will enable a little to join the 1 km run.
