A prominent example is The Diplomat, which has gradually become a preferred platform for groups and lobbies whose agendas align with Pakistan’s adversaries. The magazine’s editorial choices reflect a pattern of amplifying anti-Pakistan narratives under the guise of opinion pieces and analytical articles.
Between March and May 2025, The Diplomat published nearly 30 articles on Balochistan alone, all within eight weeks and all emphasizing themes that sought to discredit Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts in the province.
