Pakistan’s strategic comeback on global stage

THE global order is undergoing a deep transformation. Power is no longer concentrated in a single centre but is now distributed among multiple regional and global actors.

In this evolving environment, Pakistan is gradually re-emerging as a strategically important state with growing diplomatic relevance. This shift is not accidental. It reflects sustained diplomatic engagement, geographic advantage, security cooperation and a pragmatic foreign policy that seeks balance rather than alignment with any single bloc. Pakistan’s ability to maintain working relations with major powers such as the United States, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Türkiye, Qatar and Egypt highlights its unique diplomatic positioning.
