PESHAWAR – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather for Peshawar and most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next two days.
As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of the country.
Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday evening/night, Monday and Tuesday.
Freezing weather is expected in upper districts.
Dense fog/smog is likely to persist in Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Peshawar, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan and surroundings during night and morning hours.
Peshawar’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 03-05 degrees Celsius on Monday and 04-06 C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours.
Freezing weather prevailed in upper districts.
Kalam remained the coldest place in the province where mercury dropped 06 C below freezing.
In Peshawar, the minimum temperature was recorded at 04 C.
Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 85 per cent.
Dense fog/smog prevailed in the plains including Peshawar.
