RAWALPINDI – The anti-corruption department has arrested former naib tehsildar Najaf Hameed, the brother of ex -DG ISI Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed, in a case related to corruption and misuse of authority, it emerged on Monday.

Najaf was taken into custody by the anti-corruption official from the court premises after Judge Ali Nawaz Bhakar cancelled his bail in case No. 16/3, reports said.

Total 18 suspects have been booked in the case registered over bribery, misuse of authority and losses to national exchequer. However, other suspects are still at large.
