MOTHER’S Day is celebrated throughout the world every year on the second Sunday of May. The extent of the celebration varies greatly. In some countries, it is potentially offensive to one’s mother not to mark Mother’s Day. In others, it is a little known festival.

In India, Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. But in other countries, it is celebrated in an entirely different time of the year. But whatever may be the date of Mother’s Day, the spirit of the celebration is the same everywhere. Everywhere in the world, mothers are respected for their extreme devotion towards their children.
