KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly cold and dry weather across Sindh during the weekend.

As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

A shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country.

Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh on Saturday night and Sunday.

Fog/smog is likely to persist in Jacobabad, Mohenjo-Daro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki and Padidan during morning and night hours.

In Karachi, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 15-17 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature will likely remain between 13-15 C on Sunday.

Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed across Sindh during the last 24 hours.

Fog disturbed normal vehicular movement in upper districts.

Mohenjo-Daro remained the coldest place in Sindh where the mercury dropped to 06 C.

Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 59 per cent.
In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 16 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 37 per cent.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 14 C.
Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 36 per cent.
