CPEC PHASE 2.0, CHINA’S 15TH FIVE-YEAR PLAN AND CM PUNJAB MARYAM’S PROSPEROUS PUNJAB VISION
It seems that Maryam’s good governance and strategic vision is supporting the early execution, implementation and completion of the CPEC Phase 2.0 projects further strengthening the province’s contribution in the national GDP, industrialization, innovation, digitalization and hybrid agriculture.
The CM Punjab Maryam focus on massive green industrialization, hybrid agricultural modernization, and technology-driven growth has numerous similarities with the Chinese 15th Five Yera Plan which would have positive impacts on the province overall outlook, economic performance, economic stability and sustainability gearing towards greater socio-economic integration and cooperation during the 75th Anniversary of Pak-China Diplomatic Relations.
Additionally, the Punjab government has great vision of developing Special Economic Zones, specifically preparing a dedicated Garments City in Allama Iqbal Industrial City, and Quaid-e-Azam Business Park for Chinese investors which would have multiplier effects on the socio-economic development, employment generation and exports of the province. Hence, it has direct correlation and alignment with the CPEC Phase 2.0 and China’s push for high-quality production under its 15th Five-Year Plan.
Moreover, Punjab is converting public infrastructure, such as prisons, gardens, libraries, public transports, schools and hospitals to solar power for achieving the sustainable development which has configuration with CPEC Phase 2.0 and the China’s 15th Five Year Plan focusing on green technology, innovation, and modernization.
