FATIMA Jinnah was a towering figure, pioneering stateswoman, Iron Lady and one of the leading founders of Pakistan. She was the younger sister of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and stood shoulder to shoulder with him in the struggle for the creation of Pakistan. She was his closest confidante, adviser and companion and played a monumental role in the Pakistan Movement. Widely revered as Mader-e-Millat (Mother of the Nation), she became renowned for her dynamic, decisive and socio-political leadership.
