Getting to know the Oilers newest signing, Owen Michaels

With just four more teams remaining in the NCAA National Tournament, the Edmonton Oilers have signed their first player from an eliminated team.

On Thursday morning, the team announced that they’ve signed Owen Michaels to a one-year entry level contract which will begin next season. Michaels’ Western Michigan were recently eliminated from the NCAA National Tournament.
