Ryan Browne, 34, admitted he had shown the film to others without the knowledge of the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

Her partner was among those to have received the footage, Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told.

Revenge porn was criminalised in 2015 but the law was toughened up as part of the Online Safety Act 2023 . This was to address an increase in the number of incidents of people sharing intimate images and film without consent.
