Man risked aviation disaster by illegally flying drone near Norwich Airport

Christopher McEwan, 45, remotely flew his £3,500 hi-tech device inside the flight-restricted zone in place around the airport without permission on three separate occasions.

Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told video footage captured on one of the illegal flights showed it coming within 100ft of a Cessna light aircraft.
