The victim, a man in his 20s and who was a member of the door staff team, was taken to hospital after being stabbed.
Police were called to the pub in Regent Road at 12.32am on May 24 "following an altercation in which a man suffered a stab injury".
The security worker underwent treatment at the James Paget Hospital but escaped long-lasting serious injury.
Rose, of Pinelands in Horsford, was arrested later the same day and charged with maliciously wounding with intent to cause the victim grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place.

He pleaded not guilty to both charges but was found guilty on November 28 following a trial at Norwich Crown Court.
At his subsequent sentencing, Judge Andrew Shaw imposed a 10 year extended sentence made up of six years in prison and four years on licence.
He also received 30 months for possession of the knife to be served concurrently.
Pub chain JD Wetherspoons says it is taking a "zero tolerance" stance to reduce violence following a rise in crime at its 900 pubs around the country.

In 2020 it introduced staff body cameras at some of its pubs in Norfolk after a rise in violence and crime against them.
On Friday, Rose appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court via video link from prison accused of handling stolen goods over a Land Rover taken during a burglary at a property at Wroxham in February 2024.
He and co-defendant Andrew Ball, 32, from Dover in Kent, both pleaded not guilty and will next appear at Norwich Crown Court on April 17.
