'I’d recommend volunteering to anyone' - Woman encourages more to volunteer

Jan Parslow-Williams - a former carer forced into early retirement due to ill health - has found immense satisfaction in volunteering.

She dedicates her free time to helping out at East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices’ (EACH) shop in Poringland.

Mrs Parslow-Williams, who used to be a carer before retiring due to health issues, said the experience has filled the void left by her career.
