Man who seriously hurt three boys in deliberate 'horror' crash jailed for four years |
Tancredo Bankhardt was acquitted of three counts of attempted murder by jurors following a trial which started last month.
But, the 41-year-old was found guilty of three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and one of dangerous driving.

It followed a crash on the A146 Loddon and Hales at just after 8.30pm last September.

Norwich Crown Court had heard he was thought to be driving his Vauxhall Astra at 74mph at the time of the collision, on a road with a 60mph limit.

Appearing in court for sentencing on Thursday (May 14), Bankhardt was jailed for four years by The Honourable Mrs Justice Eady who said she was "quite sure the horror of the evening has stayed with all those involved".
This included the three child victims - who cannot be identified for legal reasons - who had suffered psychologically as well as "grave" physical injuries.
