Former UEA student stabbed in row over money 'would have died within minutes'

Ucheena Okirie, a former post-graduate student at the University of East Anglia's School of International Development, was attacked in shared student accommodation at Somerleyton House, off Unthank Road, Norwich.

The 33-year-old Nigerian national, who was also known as Uche, knew 28-year-old Benjamin Katabana prior to the attack in November last year but the pair had fallen out.

Katabana, a Congolese national, has gone on trial at Norwich Crown Court having been accused of murdering Mr Okirie who died from a stab wound to the chest.
