Norwich City fans rescue stranded commentators after car suffers puncture |
Without a victory since early September and having gone winless in 11 games, there was a sense of "hopeful" expectancy among supporters as a new era began for the Canaries following the appointment of new head coach Philippe Clement.
Looking to kick-start their campaign, a quick response was essential from the City players as the Norwich fans made their way to the St Andrew's stadium on Saturday.
But it soon turned flat - in more ways than one.
The 170-mile journey to face Birmingham City turned into a nightmare for the BBC Radio Norfolk commentary team when their vehicle suffered a puncture that threatened to extinguish hopes of covering Clement's first match in charge.
