Plans for new pub given the green light |
9 Bar on Prince of Wales Road will be transformed into a pub with a pool table, dart board and private party room as City Hall have approved plans which were lodged by Vishal Bhardwaj in January.
A premises license for the new venue called the Glitch has also emerged.
The ground floor will continue be used as the main bar area and the basement will be turned into a kitchen and storage space.
As part of the approval for the new pub the venue is not allowed to open after 3am and before 9am on any day.
Planners also said they would need to see plans for any sound equipment to be installed at the premises.
The venue could open as early as April 12 if a premises licence submitted to Norwich City Council is approved by then.
