Campaigner vows to continue fight against supermarket giant over footpath |
David Best, a retired pub landlord, was spearheading the campaign against Aldi after it fenced off a footpath which connects Clarkson Road with Dereham Road.
However, after examining records, Norfolk County Council officials have said there is no evidence the path was ever a right of way, and Aldi do have the right to stop people using it.
Locals became locked in a row with the shop after it closed the path they had been using for years by the Larkman Lane store.
