New ranking reveals best primary schools in Norwich |
This list has been created by the independent website School Guide, which uses official government performance data, reports, including Ofsted and parent reviews, to collate the data.
Unlike league tables based on a single measure, School Guide combines Key Stage 2 results, attendance figures and feedback from families to produce an overall score for each school.
At the top of the list this year is Charles Darwin Primary School, which achieved the highest rating in the city.
Data from the guide suggests that 81pc of pupils at the free school based on Rose Lane are meeting the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics.
The school has received one outstanding Ofsted report in 2019 and in 2025, it was said to be maintaining the standards of the previous report.
This took place after Ofsted scrapped its one-word grading system in September 2024.
