Wendy’s near Norwich Airport still a shell weeks after neighbouring chain opens |
Wendy's is due to open at the Broadland Enterprise Park in Morse Road, near the NDR at Hellesdon and Norwich Airport, this year.
A Costa Coffee, which was being developed alongside Wendy's, opened next to the site on March 26.
Signs were erected for the American chain at the start of March, when the shell unit was built.
Despite this, fit-out works have not been completed, and the restaurant is standing empty as Costa serves hundreds of customers next door.

Graeme Cosgrove, development director at Mersenne Developments Ltd, which is carrying out the works, said: "Wendy’s has not started their fitting out yet."
A spokeswoman for Wendy's added there are currently "no confirmed details" about the store's opening date.
Another Wendy's restaurant, as well as a Starbucks coffee shop, is being built on Hall Road.
