Shop inspired by mum's personal journey to open doors in Norwich |
Allison Rose-Mannall, 53, from the NR3 area of Norwich, will launch The Holistic Self-Care Kit Company in Drayton Road on May 2.
The shop will offer a mix of wellbeing products and also aims to support families across the city.

The idea for the shop has grown from years of lived experience.
Ms Rose-Mannall, who has three adult children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), said she spent much of her life helping other parents navigate the system.
She later trained as a life coach and CBT therapist, working closely with SEND families, while also developing a passion for holistic therapies.
“I am in a wheelchair and have a stoma, so I learned to use essential oils to help me with pain,” she said.
After discovering them in 2024, she began creating her own blends and sharing them with other parents.

One mix - dubbed the “frazzled mum fix” - quickly proved a hit.
By last summer, she was selling products at school events and fairs, expanding her range to include candles, tea blends and calming tools for children.
She now offers 13 blends in total, with her “pain blend” and “sleep blend” among the most popular, alongside items such as anxiety breathing necklaces.
But Ms Rose-Mannall said the new shop is about more than just products.

“I really would like to have a space that could be like a SEND hub, as well as a shop,” she explained.
The opportunity came unexpectedly just weeks ago when her husband found the premises - a former office space - and encouraged her to take the leap.
Since then, she has been busy transforming the unit ahead of opening day, with early interest already building.
She said the response so far has been “really good”, with many people excited to visit when the doors open next month.
