It will now cost £8 to stay for up to 20 minutes while picking up or dropping off passengers.

Last December, the drop-off fee rose from £5 to £6 for 30 minutes.

A spokesman for Norwich Airport said the change was due to a rise in its own costs and that it had been forced to shift some of the "additional burden" to customers.

“We understand that no one welcomes increased charges," he said.
