Catch rare glimpse of long-hidden steam engine this bank holiday weekend

The late 19th-century Burrell engine, with ties to East Anglia, will be a star attraction at the Strumpshaw Museum Steam and Vintage Gathering, taking place on Sunday, May 24, and Monday, May 25.

Once out of action for 30 years, the engine has recently been restored to working condition and will appear alongside 20 full-size steam vehicles and 18 miniature engines.
