Furious folk want farm shop closed over claims of late night music and traffic chaos

Neighbours also claim that the owner of Black Barn Farm, Trevor Thain, is not adhering to health and safety regulations.

And now, the Norwich Road site has been slapped with an enforcement notice by Broadland District Council, which states Mr Thain has breached multiple conditions from the original planning application he made for the site.

The farm shop launched in 2023 and has a butchers, deli and cafe.

According to its website, the venue also holds evening events such as wine and cheese nights.

And just last month, a Christmas market, featuring 100 stalls, caused Norwich Road to become gridlocked, with neighbours saying some people waited more than two hours in traffic.

‘IT SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN’

Even before opening, people living near Black Barn Farm were opposed to the business.
