Calls for council to clamp down on fires being lit on banks of Wensum

People living in Tanners Court in NR3 say Norwich City Council are ignoring the "constant" anti-social behaviour from rough sleepers living in tents on the bank of the River Wensum.

Neighbours say the group light fires three or four times a day in the woodland area, causing thick grey smoke to flood into their block of flats.

After a massive tree, which was "shielding" their homes from the smoke, collapsed into the river during heavy rain last week, they say the issue has become unbearable.
