£400,000 revamp of city centre green space begins

Contractors have started digging up the landscape at Castle Gardens, as part of a £400,000 revamp led by Norwich City Council.

Upgrades include new seating at the Whiffler Theatre, the city’s former open-air theatre, new planting and path widening.

The lower end of the gardens will be closed while the work progresses.
