'Founding father of UK garage' coming to Norwich venue for day party |
DJ Spoony, best known as a "founding member of UK garage," will head to The Hangar at Junkyard Market on May 3.
From 12-8.30pm, ticketholders can enjoy a day filled with garage classics, soulful house and lyrical anthems.
"A true pioneer of the UK Garage scene and now a familiar voice on BBC Radio 2, Spoony has been soundtracking parties for decades," a spokesman for The Hangar said.
"This is a daytime session, so you can dance all day on Sunday and still make the most of Bank Holiday Monday.
"We’ll be making full use of The Hangar’s indoor and outdoor spaces, with street food traders on site and the bars fully stocked.
"Rain or shine, we are covered for whatever the great British weather decides to do."
Other day parties will be held at the venue on April 18, April 25, June 13, September 5 and September 26.
Tickets start from £10.
