Plans unveiled for a new brewery with a bar at city site |
The application, which was submitted by Mark White to Norwich City Council this month, could see the warehouse unit on Kingsway near Heigham Grove turned into a brewery, with a small bar and retail area.
Although there are very few details regarding the application, the site used to be home to the Hot Tub and Swim Spa Centre which has now relocated to Norwich Camping and Leisure in Blofield.
Jordan Holmes, director for the camping and garden centre, said the hot tub business opened its showroom for the first time this weekend.
He said: "The company approached us about moving in and the space we had worked so well. We had a custom built cabin and we've used our garden pergolas that we sell to help them build their outdoor showroom."
Mr Holmes added: "Their first weekend was over our Spring Market so they experienced a huge amount of footfall and they are planning on doing an official opening weekend once they've properly settled in."
