According to plans put forward by RSS Air Ltd, the building will be subdivided into secure storage units, which can be adapted to meet operational requirements.
Although there will be very little changes made to the external structure of the building, RSS Air Ltd will be making some adjustments to the car park to replace two spaces with a single accessible parking bay, which will be adjacent to the main entrance.
According to the plans, this will result in 14 car parking spaces, including the disabled bay, "ensuring safe and convenient access for all users".
Planners for City Hall said as part of their plans: "The proposed use is in-keeping with the character of the area as an industrial estate and there will be no harm to the local distinctiveness or character of the industrial estate."
