New African-inspired bar and restaurant opening in Norwich this summer |
Las Gidi is set to open in the former Silhouette restaurant and cocktail bar in Timber Hill, next to one of the entrances to Castle Quarter shopping centre.
It is aiming to bring to life African cuisine and music in the heart of the city.
The venue, covering two floors, is currently being renovated and is expected to open in July, creating 20 jobs.
